The Singapore Tourist Pass is a popular choice among short-term visitors, offering durations of 1 to 3 days and it also includes a refundable rental deposit of $10. You have the option to purchase:

  • 1-day pass for S$22

  • 2-day pass for S$29

  • 3-day pass for S$34

It's important to note that the cost of the pass already includes the $10 refundable rental deposit.

The great thing about this pass is the flexibility it offers. After the rental period of the card expires, you have two options.

  1. You can return the pass to any authorized Transitlink Ticket Office in Singapore and get your deposit back.

  2. Alternatively, if you wish to continue using the card, you can choose to retain it and treat it as a regular ez-link card. Simply top up the card with cash at any of the top-up machines located within all MRT stations. This gives you the freedom to customize your travel experience and use the card according to your preferences.

Once you have topped up the card with cash, it opens up a world of possibilities. Not only can you use it for public transportation, including trains and buses, but you can also make payments at selected merchants that accept the ez-link card as a mode of payment.

This adds convenience and versatility to your experience, as you can seamlessly transition from using the card for transportation to making purchases at various establishments. It's a convenient all-in-one solution that allows you to explore the city, travel with ease and make hassle-free payments at compatible locations.

However, it's important to note that if you choose to retain the card after the card rental period expires, the $10 card rental deposit will be forfeited. So be mindful of this when deciding whether to return the card or keep it for future use.

SG Tourist Pass

Additionally, it caters to those who may revisit Singapore in the future and intend to continue using the card after topping it up with cash.

However, it's essential to note that the pass, like any of the other passes must be used on consecutive days, ensuring its validity throughout your visit.
