Tourists have the option to use their Singapore Tourist Pass or even their credit and debit cards for entry. Please be aware that for foreign-issued contactless credit and debit cards, an administrative fee will be imposed, so it's essential to keep this in mind. If you have mobile payment capabilities, you can also utilize it to tap in and out of the station.
MRT Rules
There are certain rules to follow when using the MRT, which is similar to any other train system around the world. However, the fines for breaking these rules can be quite shocking for many tourists.
For instance, smoking, eating, drinking, carrying flammable goods and bringing durian are strictly prohibited.
